Not work after firmware upgrade
« on: March 30, 2009, 01:49:41 AM »

After firmware upgrade from version 1.5.1 to 1.6.1.23, device does not boot. Management port is not active (after plug in the network connector, the leds on management port is off). Also occurs nothing аt connection serial port over terminal.

How i can restore old firmware and boot device?

Does the unit even power on? When the unit powers on it takes awhile for it to fully boot like 3-5 minutes. There's also 2 LED lights at the top of the unit. Do you see any of them on? (They should be green)

Can you pull any type of logs from the unit? Even from the CLI if you have to?

No, I can't connect to the device through management port and diagnostic port. Look post #1.

Power off the unit, Remove the Battery and then the RAM.. wait about a minute.. re-install the RAM first then the Battery and try to boot the device again.

If the system Fails to boot after an upgrade

use
set_boot A
or
set_boot B

on the first break out from the Console port.
