Title: 605 Router not detected
Post by: Rajk2014 on July 25, 2016, 03:01:49 AM
All the lights of My DIR-605 router is glowing. It has been in use since February, 2015 and was giving trouble free service. I have tried to reset it but there is no change. The router is not detected while searching for available networks. Tried to connect it through 192.168.0.1, but not effective. Can anyone guide me how to restore it

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

What do you mean by not detected and searching for available networks? After doing a factory reset, it's recommended to be LAN wired to the back of the router then connect to 192.168.0.1 to set up the router...

PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again. (For older generation routers.)
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
