Title: DUB-H7 loses connection to Mac after sleep
Post by: jgowrie on March 16, 2014, 06:50:55 AM
I sent a message to CS via the contact page on the website 3 weeks ago and didn't hear from them... which I guess is because this product is no longer supported according to the section of the forum it's in?

Just purchased this from Amazon about 2 months ago so I just figured it was a supported product and  I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise. The DUB-H7 works fine when my Mac fires up but when I come back after a period of time where the computer goes to sleep, the HUB either loses all connection and none of the connected devices are working, or some of them work while others don't... Lately it's been all of the connected devices stop responding.  Pulling the HUB and reconnecting it to the Mac doesn't help.  The only solution seems to be shutting down and reboot.

I am running Mavericks 10.9.1..  I used the support pages at dlink looking for info but during the product selection process I am asked to give the hardware version of my device and there are two options : A or B while my device has C1.. Anyone know what's up with that?

Thx,
John

Does the HUB work on any other PC or OSX version? Windows?

  • What Hardware version is your HUB? Look at sticker under HUB.

Does the HUB work on any other PC or OSX version? Windows?

Hi.. The HW Version is C1.. on the product support pages the only two choices are A or B.  I don't have any other computer / OS to test the HUB on.

Thx
John

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information about this.

Let us know how it goes...
