Tricky, you need to read my post again, I said Xbox and not MS is the good side. LOL. Not here to argue whats better in gaming hardware either. I was only about 6 years ago I got my first Halo edition xbox. I hated the xbox and swore I would not get one. Until Halo came alone. Now I love it and writing some fan fiction for Halo. LOL. Between PS and Xbox, the root of the evil is the users though, those users who trash talk, hack and cheat on them so it's not either HW version, it's the users and there on both sides.  People and or Kids. LOL

Hey, He installed it for me. But it's not the Sb6120 it's rather the one with voip the SBV6220 came with a boot firmware: 1.0.7.13m and a firmware name:  SBV6X2X-1.0.2.4. It's pretty sweet so far.

Just logged in right now and bam you are online. The interface is really hard to understand. I am still trying to figure out how do I see the signal levels. My old modem was easy this has like 3 channel bonding and each one has a different signal. My upstream does not bond :( how about you furry?

Touché mon ami. :-)

Though to be fair, Microsoft is the parent company of Xbox. I actually play the 360 though. I would own one if they could promise better quality control. I played Halo Reach last night and...did anyone else feel like they were playing Starfox when doing the flying level? "Do a barrel roll!"

Nope, upstream doesn't bond. No ISP I know has invested the mucho cash needed for that. Eventually though.

And if your seeing the three channels, thats a good thing. I personally don't like EMTA's (AKA internet/phone combo modems) but sometimes its the lesser of two evils. Its better to have 1 EMTA then use a splitter for two modems. But hey, if you got it for free, its like a 150-200$ modem. Technically its just the 6120 with some more ram for a larger firmware and a VOIP attached with a battery, but the battery can make troubleshooting a pain.

Furry, have you gotten  the Happy Blue light yet on your recieve?

Oh, I loved it too. My only issue though was the lack of radar. Kind of funny a Spartan has radar, but not the super elite experimental spacecraft he is flying? Really fun level though. Too bad you cant fly it in multiplayer though. Talk about OP! LOL

Funny you should meantion that. I was gone all weekend and came home and notice it today when I got up. WTF over? Didn't notice any probs though. I was still able to connect to internet and download stuff.
I did check the modem logs and saw several warnings and critical messages and notice the time online and been reset, was online for 30 mins approx.

Ya, I could get used to that here and there in MP. I like the fact of having something different to do than just run around alot. Hope they keep it going.
