Stand Alone Player for MAC?
« on: December 02, 2012, 03:03:58 PM »

Im going to be using this camera FIXED via ethernet as a cctv kind of setup. I need a standalone player to view the video feed on. Something like quicktime would be awesome, but not sure how to do it.

I am on a MAC.

Does anyone have any ideas? What i dont want to do is to open up the video feed in a web page and then have to shrink the page down to the size of the video and have scroll bars etc. I just need a nice video feed in its own window where I can place it in the corner of the screen along with other programs

Cheers

Carl.

I'm not sure if this will help, but we maintain a sticky-post thread listing third-party software for monitoring video feeds from DCS IP Cameras: DCS IP Cameras - Compatible Third Party Applications to Monitor Video .
