DCS-6620G overheating
« on: April 24, 2017, 10:35:34 AM »

My DCS-6620G is consistently failing after a few moments of being turned on.  I realized it was overheating and when I opened the camera the fan was not working.  The fan blade turns fine and is connected to the board.  To test that the internal fan was the issue, while I had the camera open I used an external fan to blow cool air across the boards and the camera worked fine.  Not sure if the fan failed or if there is a sensor failure.  Any direction would be great.

This needs support help for this. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
