Hi, Hope that i would get the solution from the forum members or experts
My router is D link 2730 u india model. I have changed my admin password and also enabled prtotection from DOS attacks for all the attacks mentioned there in the router page. But, when my internet light turns red, i enabled log on the router and checked the normal log of the router. Aside from normal logs, two logs line were like this :
UdpEchoChargen Attack source=ip of foreign country , original ip removed
DoS: UdpEchoChargen Attack source=ip of a foreign country     "
Those Ips are not all present and ips are not connected to my country.
As the time of log is having error , jan 1970, i only rectified by adopting NTP dlink server today.
I am having the latest firmware 1.1 version and
My question is how after enabling the DOS protection, this log comes in to being

I recommend that you phone contact your ISP support office and ask for help and information regarding this. If this unit was provided by the ISP, then it may have there own FW and support features which will need to be addressed directly with the ISP since it's there HW. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
