FTP settings failing?

I'm setting up the FTP options on my camera but the test fails.
It's on the same subnet as the Rpi running VSFTPD and I am sure I've set the correct credentials because I can login from another machine.
The problem I have is that even if I press "test" on the web interface, I don't see anything coming up on the log of the FTP server. It's like the camera cannot access the raspberry pi.
Does anyone have any idea of why this could be ?
