Title: Problems setting the date format - DCS-910
Post by: SuperCPU on May 07, 2017, 04:02:54 AM
Hello everyone,

I have a DCS-910 camera and it works quite well.
However, since some time ago, I can't set the date format to make the difference between day and night. If it's at 8 PM (20), it always shows 8.

I was using D-View Cam 3.20 and a few days ago I found and installed the D-View Cam 4.1.1
However, both of them have the same problem.
I am going into "Setting -> System Setting -> Camera -> Time"

Let's assume that the clock is at 20:12:34 (evening).
I have two options that I can chose:
- PM08:12:34
- 08:12:34

No matter how many times I tried to chose the first option, the camera software shows "08:12:34"

This is very strange, because some time ago it worked. I have recordings that show the time in the format "PM08:12:34".
But now I can't get that anymore. The most important change to the system was that I installed Windows 8.1 - before I had Windows 7.
Maybe it has something to do with that?

However, the second option should not even exist. Because, if it's 20 in the evening, the time should be showin either as "20" or "PM08", but never as a simple "O8".

Is there any solution to fix this?

Thanks

What browser are you using? Try IE11 or FF or Opera?
Does doing a factory reset and set up from scratch help?

Was FW updated recently?

Thanks, I found the solution by myself:

In the "Playback System" program   -   General Setting (The fixed key icon) -> Setting -> System Setting -> OSD -> Time
