Title: Camera website giving me a 403 error without chance to log in
Post by: cordthomas on February 02, 2017, 01:10:34 PM
My 2332L won't allow me to log in to the management website any longer.  I am not sure i did anything to accomplish this - started a week ago.

I feel i may have to reset the camera but would prefer not to.   Any other thoughts on how to force it to allow me to provide credentials?

You are no longer prompted?
Try a different browser or clear cache/cookies, or even another machine.

Try power cycling the camera or factory reset then set up from scratch...

Are you prompted for username/password or not?

Are you accessing the right url?   Are you using https?  Have you tried http?

A 403 response generally indicates one of two conditions:
Authentication was provided, but the authenticated user is not permitted to perform the requested operation.
The operation is forbidden to all users. For example, requests for a directory listing return code 403 when directory listing has been disabled.

Is there any update on this 403 error? Seems crazy to have to climb up a ladder to reset a camera.
Thx.
