Any support or help for me (Not in US but in Singapore)
« on: November 21, 2019, 01:42:12 AM »

I just bought this COVR 3902 from Dlink and initally it was doing fine, but 1-2 week later it start to have some problem.

First: The Extender Uplink 5G doesn't have light anymore
I tried to bring it next to the main router and the light still dun lit up. I tried to reset both main and extender and it still doesn't lit up. (During reset and starting up yes the light is shown and blinking)

Second: My wifi connection to my ipad keep dropping. And sometime after connected for a while, the wifi logo on my ipad and devices will went off and when i tried to access my wifi connect on my ipad, it somehow said the password is incorrect. But it was connected all along and no password change at all.

I tried to contact Dlink support and did all troublshoot but it doesn't help at all.

Here is my Case ID with the phone support

Problem : Advanced Configuration

Andrew said that his COVR-3902 having an issue with the extender 5G uplink light
Solution:
- Wi-Fi Extender its working fine
- Until the 5G is
- The smaller one doesn't have 5G light
- Advised to press the Wi-Fi button
- Still the 2.4 is on but the 5G is still off
- Advised to press WPS for the big one followed by the small one for 3 seconds
- 5G Downlink is on
- 5G uplink is off
- Advised to reset the extender for 10 seconds with a pin
- The 2.4 Down and uplink is on
- Waiting for 5G down and uplink
- Advised to press the WPS button for both device and it blink and the 5G uplink went off
- Advised we can do reset and re configure
- Set expectations that before we can setup, he need to register the MAC ID of his Covr to M1
- Andrew will go to the service center to let it check

Thank you for contacting the D-Link Tech Support Team!

Sincerely,
Gabriel Dalton Gamao
