dwa-556 vs broadcom card on hp laptop
« on: February 21, 2011, 12:03:44 AM »

Hi all,
I noticed different receiving capacity between my hp laptop (6715b) and a desktop pc with dwa-665 card.

I put laptop 2 metres far from desktop pc: while my laptop was connected without any problem, even if signal was not very high, desktop pc was not able to stay connected, some seconds it was connected and then it disconnected.

Probably if I increased signal, problem could end, but I don't understand why dwa-556 can't stay connected.

Does anyone know differences in receiving capacity between dwa-556 and general wireless card in the laptops?

Wireless signal is g/b, not n.
