HI,
I enable the windows sharing in the setting. However, in the network, I cannot see the sharing file. I mean the router, DIR-880L, is not showing in my network sharing. The only way I can access the router is by typing, "\\192.168.0.1". Is any one know why the router is not showing in the network? The hard diver is connecting in the USB 3.0 port, and the firmware is the latest one.

- What region are you located?
Do you have all the sharing features enabled on the router? DLNA and SharePort?

Hi,
seeing a shared resource inside the network environment of a Windows PC (I guess that is what you mean when saying "...is not showing in my network sharing"?) is also a matter of the local settings of your Windows PC concerning so called "computer browsing". Hence on your Windows PC check if ...
- ... network discovery is turned on (Network and Sharing Center | Change advanced sharing settings: Inside current network profile select Turn on network discovery)
- ... "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" is enabled for your Local Area or Wireless Network Connection respectively (Network and Sharing Center | Change adapter settings: Right click the corresponding Local Area or Wireless Network Connection and select "Properties": On Networking tab mark Internet Protocol Version4 and click Properties: On General tab click Advanced...: On WINS tab check if either Default or Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP is checked)
