Hi I work at Galaxy Gaming a Gaming and LAN Center in Dover, NH. ( I love the DGL-4500 ^_^)

Ever Since I  upgraded to the v1.21NA firmware in the last 2 or 3 months then to v1.22NA when it came out, up from the original v1.02 firmware... we have been unable to connect our Nintendo Wiis getting that
"Nintendo Wii error code 51330"...

Any Ideas I going to have to go with bug but....?

This is occurring in both 1.21NA as well as 1.22NA....

have you tried setting up a IP reservation and also tested this Wii out on the DMZ? Wondering if there is a FW issue with Wii. I would contact DLink and talk to someone. Hate to see this not get resolved. Got to be something simple. Let us know if you find anything. I'd like to post info in my Gaming and GameFuel sticky if there are certain settings needed for the Wii.

If you're talking about a manually configured network, that's what we use here at G2.....  Everything that wants to connect has to be manually assigned an IP and all the other settings as well...

I would like to note the we were using a 128-Bit wep key before.... but like I mentioened before I tried the other security types to no avail....  I would to also note that when I changed the secrity settings it complained about WPS might not function correctly.... I have it enabled but am not using it and saldy I haven't tried it with WPS off yet....

I did start a support ticket as well but the initial response was seriously lacking love lol...

ok If I figure something out I will post it...

Ya Im getting to upgrade to Cat 6 this next week. Can't wait. Supposed to be a lot smoother.

Got my CAT 6 cabling order in yesterday, woo hoo. Very nice and smooth. I noticed a 1Mb up in speed when going to speedtest.net. Played xbox last night but that was still over Cat 5 to the 4500. Will try my other xbox thats on CAT 6 this weekend. I got cables that were as short as they could be for each one I upgraded. I did 1 ft between the cable modem and router and 2 ft from router to switch. Seems very nice. Think we should post a separate subject for this here in the forums since were getting of topic here. LOL. Let everyone know.

After all of my issues with my originally bought router, and finally giving in and getting it RMA'd, and then continued issues (but less markedly seen) with this router, I have to say that when 121B08 / 122NA were put onto this device, I finally started seeing specs close to the same as with my DGL-4300 (which, incidentally, I have working again - it seems the DHCP over wired is flaky, but wireless seems to hold up better- good news for my DROID).

Some stats (17 days ago we switched from our cable provider for phone service to Vonage, so these stats are for a router that has been on non stop for 17 days on this current connection:

LAN Statistics

Sent :     181923501
Received :     100894569
TX Packets Dropped :     5
RX Packets Dropped :     0
Collisions :     0
Errors :     0

WAN Statistics

Sent :     98693589
Received :     180436590
TX Packets Dropped :     0
RX Packets Dropped :     0
Collisions :     0
Errors :     0

Wireless Statistics

Sent :     242169
Received :     52554
TX Packets Dropped :     1008
RX Packets Dropped :     2722
Errors :     2612

The wireless packet loss I can live with - having 2 radios in close proximity, one to serve my DROID (G) and one to serve my laptop (N) will obviously have some negative effects.  Since both routers show similar packet loss, I am not worried about it.

But, to have *0* packet loss in WAN communications, and to have only 5 packets lost in 181 Million+ packets transmitted on my LAN - now *THAT* is the performance I am used to getting with my older DGL-4300 before it crapped out.

Thank you, D-Link for finally getting this all worked out.  Thanks to all of the crew that put up with a lot of us who were steaming mad with our purchases, and thanks to all of you who were able to help beta test Firmware to help the devs get it right.
