Title: DCS 930L Replacement
Post by: wheatfeild on August 16, 2018, 09:58:30 AM
Hello

Can anyone recommend a replacement for the DCS 930L?   Specifically, I need a camera that can display a static image over http, without requiring a user name and password.  The same functionality you can find on the DCS 930L at the "/image/jpeg.cgi" URL.

I have several DCS 930L cameras deployed, and they are failing, one by one.

Thanks

Most all newer cameras will probably need user and pw as D-Link stepped up security on there cameras for security reasons.

Thanks for the reply.  Does anyone know if  there a camera that will display a static image over http if a username and password is embedded in the url?

Thanks

Most D-Link cameras will have this option except for the new DCS-8xxxLH cameras. They locked HTTP and RTSP protocols and only work with the mydlink app.
