Title: Had the hardest time registering this past weekend the 202L
Post by: RYAT3 on November 29, 2016, 04:27:13 PM

1st install was to a known mydlink subscriber.  I couldn't get past the the setup and adding the DNR to the account. It gave some crazy error.  I was dealing with substandard internet (3MB down/1MB up), so I chalked it up to that.

2nd install was to a new account.  I was able to get mydlink up and running with my email, and had clicked on the link to authenticate my account in the dlink email. Great!  But - the setup wizard for the DNR202L said I had to be authenticated.  I tried around 10 times and the next morning with no luck.

Also a 3rd random issue - I couldn't add 1 camera to mydlink.  It showed up as a light blue unclickable camera in the Android app under local. (well, I could view it).  But I could not add it. I wasn't sure if it was the one I had in my account - so I removed it.  Still no luck.  (If it was 2330L lock out issues - it should have resolved at some point).   The thing is the mydlink add camera doesn't tell you which camera you are adding (serial #s) so you have no idea what password to use when adding multiple cameras.  So it's random guessing until it works. Well, I'm getting off target at the moment.

This seems to be a MDL service issue...
