...and I really don't want to have to uninstall it from the location where I've got it mounted to plug an ethernet cable into it.
The app won't recognize it via WPS, don't want to do ethernet. I can access the camera just fine from home via its static IP address, and just fine from a non-firewalled location via the DlinkDDNS.com setup I've got.
Isn't there some way to tell MyDlink what the DDNS address is, and view it that way? If there is, I haven't found it!
And I don't see Setup Wizard at https://www.mydlink.com/download#

mydlink will never use a DDNS address to access it.
The setup wizard software got removed due to issues with later versions of Windows.

So no choice but rio climb up, dismount, and connect via etherenet? the camera can’t be added via the home network IP address?
