Hi,

I have a weird problem. (i guess) :p

I just installed 2 DCS-7010L outdoor HD bullet cam's at a customer.
Image is OK, everything works fine on the "windows" level.

but then :

On android i can watch both cams in 1. crappy resolution, BUT i have a HD button which i can press and then i have nice clear image.

On Ios however i have only crappy image (ipad & iphone) and NO HD button....

I guess the Ios choses the videoprofile 3 setting (300X176 res setting) .... however when i login to the cameras I only can change video profile 1 and 2, but 3 is grayed out.  (in the video & audio settings tab when you IP access the camera directly.)

how can i "better" the resolution on ipad/iphone without the customer having to buy android devices instead of his apple devices? :)

Thanks for any advice
(if this is not the right topic/category please let me know, but i didn't find a DCS-7010L topic)

You might want to jump to the last page for other options that might work.

Let us know what you ended up using that worked in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread.

You need to change the video profile setting.

In you camera's setting web-page, you can see three video profile.

Change either video profile 1 or 2 .

Change the mode to JPEG, Frame size to 640x360, frame rate and quality
you can change to any as the video play smooth with you phone.

Save the setting and you should able to change resolution in the phone device.
