Any one here use the d-link pro switches?
« on: May 11, 2019, 12:38:13 AM »

Hello everyone,

I've been using a D-link DSG-1510-20 for a few months now and yesterday I had a fast power bump yesterday that caused a bit of headache yesterday.

I noticed that the switch seems to not do a very good job of keeping all of it's config. I had recently configured VLAN trucks and some other settings on the unit and with the power bump, those settings were lost...

Has anyone else ran into this before? It's odd because it wasn't a full config drop, just a recent settings drop. I made sure I was saving changes when I re-configured the VLAN stuff last night but would hate to have this happen again...

Thank you!

Has FW been updated.
Can you save off a config to file for safe keeping in case it looses it's settings?
How long have you had the switch?
