10Gb home LAN with in long range...
« on: April 18, 2019, 01:41:20 PM »

Still kinda spendy to get into 10Gb for home LAN:
https://www.amazon.com/D-Link-10-Port-10-Gigabit-Ethernet-DXS-1100-10TS/dp/B00PVDH0LS

https://www.amazon.com/XG-C100C-Network-Adapter-Single-RJ-45/dp/B072N84DG6/ref=pd_rhf_se_s_pd_crcd_1_5/144-0130449-2215544?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B072N84DG6&pd_rd_r=6d793ded-ce13-4846-acd6-e2a6877dc9a0&pd_rd_w=ts3S7&pd_rd_wg=RRq4W&pf_rd_p=36c62ed8-9692-4b91-aa9a-c4b3b85cc759&pf_rd_r=RJXNG74SFQ6DRWVM70DH&psc=1&refRID=RJXNG74SFQ6DRWVM70DH

Would be interesting see what speeds PCs fitted with 10Gb adapters on that switch would see though.  :o

Home consumer products are still limited by the 1000mb rates on all those wired RJ-45 devices though.

Let see what happens in next 5 years.  ::)
