192.168.1.1 Admin IP Address Not Working
« on: April 06, 2019, 07:10:56 PM »

Hello there

I'm using the D-Link 2750U ADSL modem-router. I haven't had a problem using my device until now. My internet connection sometimes has instant interruptions and the internet light is blinking. As far as I'm concerned, I need to connect to the router admin panel via the IP address http://192.168.1.1. But when I try to make a connection, I get a "Page cannot be displayed" error.

The problem may be caused by the problem. I will be grateful if you could help me. I may have typed mistakes because my English is not so good, please excuse me.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Try a factory reset ON the modem and set up from scratch.

I recommend that you have your ISP check the cabling going to the ISP modem, check signal levels going to the ISP modem. For DSL or Fiber service lines, ensure that the ISP is using good working phone or cable lines to the DSL modem and that the phone lines are filtered correctly.  I recommend having the ISP service physically check the lines going from the out side to the ISP modem. Connecting to the ISP modem could result in a false positive as the signal to the modem could be just enough to that point then adding on a router, could see problems. The router operation is dependent upon getting good data flow from the ISP modem and the modem is dependent upon getting good signal from the ISP Service.

Hello,

Did you try to connect to a wire LAN port (not the WAN port)? I had a similar issue with Linksys router a couple of months ago. The factory reset didn't help then. But then I tried to complete a factory reset followed by plugging the router into my network but not plugging it into the power outlet. That worked.

Is your computer directly connected to the router (ie no switch or another router)?

On your computer, go to Start > Run/Search box - type CMD and press enter.  At the prompt, type IPCONFIG and hit enter. What is your default gateway IP address?

I presume that the OP users hasn't followed up since there posting, hopefully they have been able to solve there problems by now. Users are encouraged to review the user manuals and installation PDFs as well.

yes, I had the same issue with my router, when I was trying to login into my it gave an error to me. then search on the internet about the error. I found a website https://routerinstallation.com/ it is a very good website all the steps of how to login to my Dlink router are available with pictures. I recommend you have to visit the website if you face a similar problem. https://mikehelpsyou.com/ it is also a good tech blog websites.
