Title: DHCP reservation
Post by: gvrocha on July 11, 2016, 01:05:54 PM
  Hi all,

I would like some of the devices in my network to have fixed IPs within my network.
  I have a DIR-890L with firmware 1.09 installed.
I believe DHCP reservation is supported starting at 1.06 firmware, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do it.
Can anyone tell me where DHCP reservation can be done in the web interface?

  Thanks,

  G

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)

After you log in, select the Clients icon seen on the main screen. This will list all currently connected devices.
Pick one of the devices, and select the dark gray pencil icon on the devices icon tab. This will open up a new rule pop up window. You can edit the device name and give a IP address or use the one that was given to the device initially. Select the Reserve IP address slider bar to the right to enable the reservation. Select Save. The pop up window should auto close. Do this for all device you wish to have a reservation.

I would use either IE11 or FF. Can try chrome as well.

That works.
And it appeared to work on Chrome (though I had some issues a few days ago).
Thanks.
