Title: DDNS on Dir-880L
Post by: bimo on February 09, 2017, 06:23:55 AM
I have a cable modem with the 880L (latest FW) connected and two PC's  wired to router. Laptops, cameras and phones using the router's WiFi.
I have had some problems with the router updating my DDNS provider.

I have removed my DDNS from the router and added to the modem. I also set the router's DNS cache to disable and obtain from IPS. Everything works but, I'm not sure this is the optimal setting for my setup. Any advice....
Thanks

What kind of problems updating from the DDNS provider.
Who is the DDNS provider?

What Mfr and model is the ISP modem?
v1.07 or v1.08 version loaded?

DNS Relay Disabled?

It doesn't upgate No-IP. It's an Arris modem and as I said, I have the latest FW 1.08.
