myDlink reliability
« on: March 14, 2013, 05:08:42 PM »

Does myDlink cloud camera monitoring web site work reliably for anyone?

I now have 3 D-Link cameras (DCS-5222L, DCS-930L, DCS-7010L) but none of them can be reliably monitored via https://au.mydlink.com/. Latest Java 7 update 17 is installed, browser security turned off, firewalls removed, but 9 times out 10 all I get is the spinning "loading" graphic.

Every time I visit mydlink I get the DLink Java Application needed... I always tick the "Always trust content from this publisher" and the Run. As that normal that this installation must be confirmed and presumably installed every time?
I get this same behaviour on 3 different PCs.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can confirm that this Dlink service works ok for them so I know I'm not wasting my time trying to make it work.

I am able to access the cameras web UI directly.
