Title: Loging into Hotel Wifi with Splash Page
Post by: jeepguy_1980 on October 08, 2013, 05:24:12 PM
I just got my 505L and have successfully paired it with my Hotel's wifi in Hotspot mode.  I created my own SSID and can connect to it just fine.  However, when I try to go online my web browser starts to get redirected to the login page, but it never loads the page.

Does anyone have tips for getting past a hotel splash screen in Hotspot mode with this device?

I have the only firmware version that D-Link ever released for this device, 1.01.

It's pretty obvious that D-Link released this router and had no intention of providing any support.  It doesn't do what it's supposed to do and they never released any newer firmware to make it work.

I'd phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask them about configuration of this router as this is probably a configuration issue.

Good Luck.
