mydlink no longer shows my device
« on: November 13, 2013, 04:43:51 AM »

OK. So its one problem fixed. And another problem emerged.

After managing to get my wifi signal stablised and fixing the 'foreign language on start page' , I find myself having another issue (albeit less critical)

I realised that I do not have my device information showing on mydlink webpage.

From the Current Network Page, it shows that mydlink account has been set up and connected. The 'Configure' button is greyed out.

I tried searching for the FAQ on dlink site and this forum and could not find any solution on how to resolve this.

Its not a big issue and I still have my internet access and wifi connection. It just would be nice to get the device information on mydlink page. Any help appreciated. TIA!

Have you attempted to re-register the router with mydlink within in the routers web page?

Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection
mydlink.com Supported Browsers
Internet Explorer 7 or higher (32-bit)
Firefox 12 or higher
Chrome 20 or higher
Safari 6 or higher (Mac OS only)
