Can't view Resolution Higher than 480 via MyDlink iOS App
« on: May 27, 2014, 11:10:57 AM »

I am trying to adjust my resolution on my iOS app so that I can view my feed at 720p, however I can not get higher than 480p and when I go to advanced settings to change the option for Video Profile 3 everything is locked down to H.264 and I can not make any adjustments.

https://www.mydlink.com/faq?nocache=1401212743822#id-menu_SD13/ans-81 (the instructions on how to adjust resolution)

Why is this locked down in my advanced settings? It seems like I had a lot more freedom in changing settings with my first D-Link camera (942L) than I do with this more advanced camera.

Thanks

I notice that my 942L (firmware 1.23) has many more options I can set in advanced settings than my 2132L (firmware 2.01) does. Why is this? Many of the features I liked from the 942L are unavailable to me with this new camera. If I can't figure out a way to enable them, I may have to return this new camera and start looking outside of D-Link for my camera needs. It's frustrating not to have the same functionality just because I choose I higher resolution camera.
