Title: Need DCS - 5220 Expertise help
Post by: davidtan_168 on January 28, 2010, 03:04:36 AM
Hi all the expertise,

For your information, i just brought the D-Link DCS-5220 currently, after configure using the ethernet, i manage to connect using the web browser, but after set the SSID to the FCSIT(University Access point name) and set the statistic IP, i unplug the LAN cable, trying to let the DCS-5220 to connect automatically to the access point, but no response wow, the yellow LCD light does not blink. Anything (beside the SSID) i need to configure in order for the DCS 5220 to connect using the Wireless rather than using the LAN cable.

Do i need to restart ?or anymore configuration that i need to configure?

Thanks in advance..

It should just connect when unplugged if the proper information is entered. Does the security password use any special characters? Also verify that you are using a proper static IP address if you are not using DHCP. Does the access point not have a DHCP server?
