Ubiquity UniFi
« on: April 04, 2017, 12:51:39 PM »

Good evening,

I am having trouble getting the UniFi ShareCenter addon working on my DNS 327L - I have installed as usual using the Add-on Center, activated the addon, waited a few minutes (as said on the launch screen), and when I click on the "Launch Interface" button, I just get "Page cannot be displayed".

I have Java 8 installed and running, have tried disabling other applications, restarting the NAS, reinstalling the addon all to no avail.

I have also tried both HTTPS port 8443 and HTTP port 8080.

Running firmware 1.07

Please help

Many thanks in advance

What web browser are you using? Try IE11 with compatibility mode, FF or Opera to see if these do the same thing...
Be sure to clear all browser caches before opening the DNS web page first.

Have tried on both Chrome and IE11 (with and without compatibility mode).

Have used WinSCP to look into the folders and /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/unifi/ has been created and has the usual files in, but looking into the "install.sh" file, it describes unpacking 3x .tar.xz files, but these are not unpacked (I can see the files).

Have tried manually unpacking to no avail.

Please advise

Many thanks

Still unable to get this to work - if I manually try to extract the tar.xz files I get an error message saying "Invalid Magic" "Short Read" which would suggest corrupt files (even though I have tried reinstalling multiple times)

If I extract the files on my PC and copy then back using WinSCP, the log files start logging information, but server.log just says

Scratch that, just re-took ownership of the folders and the server has started, not sure what was happening there!
