Title: DIR-882 with Apple Time Machine ?
Post by: thekochs on January 23, 2019, 12:08:26 PM
For my wife's & kids MACs I have Apple Time "Capsule" (3TB) unit hook via e-Net cable to my DIR-882.
Apple's Time Machine software on MACs backs up wirelessly to it (via the DIR-882).....all nice & easy.
Apple has said they are out of that biz and will support the TC unit with firmware for years but I'm looking ahead.
How do I support an external USB HDD hooked to the DIR-882 for Time Machine support ?
Asus AC2900 Wi-Fi Router (RT-AC86U) states they have TM support.
In my v1.11 firmware I see USB drive section but does not look like anything for this type support ?

Help/Thoughts ?
