What region are you located?

Drivers for 10 may not be available at this time. You can try using the most current drivers located on D-Links regional sites.

I am also curious about compatibility of D-Link drivers with Windows 10.

I have two AC1200 USB adapters and an older DWA-131 adapter...on three separate computers. Last night I migrated one of my computers (the one with the DWA-131) from Win 7 to Win 10 and lost internet connectivity as a result. Interestingly enough, the DWA-131 successfully shook hands with my router but it could simply not gain access to the internet. Researching the internet this morning from my workplace, I find that many new Win 10 users have been reporting this same issue. Lucky for me I was able to revert my rig back to Win 7, and guess what? My adapter works again! Microsoft's pat response to users experiencing the Win 10 internet connectivity loss is to check that we have the most up-to-date (compatible?) drivers. For now I am forgoing any further migration to Win 10 unless this issue is resolved.

Questions:
1. So is this a D-Link driver problem or a Microsoft migration/upgrade problem?
2. Does anybody know if all D-Link drivers (US region) have been evaluated for Win 10 compatibility? If not, when will this be done and when can the user community see some notification from D-Link that Win 10 compatible drivers are available for download?

Please advise.

Thanks.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

From what I know. They are supporting Windows 10, What and when, I don't have that info.

Let us know how it goes...

This may answer most of the problems with DWA adapters. The old drivers that came with Windows 7 work in Windows 10. The only issue - you need to disable the ethernet port, and then install the DWA-182 with the Win 7 driver. My adapter was ver. A1, it worked after the ethernet (LAN) was disabled. See the following thread in Windows 10 forums..

Thanks for the additional information about the LAN port. We presume that the LAN port should be un-plugged or disabled anyways before the installation of any adapter as Windows defaults to using the LAN port when it's active.

Users are encourages to review most current drivers on D-Links web site for updated drivers for there adapters.

In most cases Windows 7 driver should work in Windows 10.
