Seems the DNR 202L is basically going to be useless in the future unless you want to continue using an old IE browser if that will even be possible.

Seems the 202L is headed toward obsolescence.

IE 11 will be phased out with WIN7. If you plan on buying a new PC and will no longer retain an old PC with WIN7 the DNR will be obsolete for you unless DLINK is about to overhaul it to be compatible with a non Active X browser. This is why it will not work on Chrome. The world is moving to HTML5.

IE11 is currently supported on Windows 10:

OK thanks! But no need to take a victory lap around the block IMO. IE is part of WIN10 but not the main browser. Kind of like when MSFT rolled out WIn7 with XP Mode. Its just for legacy purposes and the DNR 202 has a time expiration correlated to the demise of IE due to its use of Active X. This is why the DNR 202 will not work in any other browser such as Chrome as Active X is an outdated technology.

Still works though.  ;) FF works as well. I find Chrome to be not flexible and more into data collecting for Google. My preference thought.
