Mac filtering problem
« on: October 25, 2009, 06:31:30 AM »

Hi,

Sorry for my bad english.
My DIR-855 (A2 and 1.13 EU) is ok for me

Yesterday, i wanted  to active the Mac filtering of my Dlink. I entered the Mac address of all my PC, ethernet or wifi.
Shortly after, i realised that i had a problem with the wifi :
On my netbook with Windows XP SP3, connected in wifi, if i go in the window where you choose networks Wireless, it is said that I am not connected. However, in the same window, bottom right, disconnection is proposed. And I nevertheless access to my router, local network, and internet.
In addition, I can not connect to my LAN server (no on dhcp but on ip fix). But no problem for Internet access.
Same problem on the other wifi pc but it"s ok on the ethernet pc.

If I disable MAC filtering, no problem on all the pc.

Can you tell me where it comes from?
Have a nice day

Jean
