I bought the router version a2. The signal quality is very good, but the coverage is very poor. The 5 GHz band has only 4 channels (36-48). It's normal?

Yes, the coverage of 5 GHz is different to the 2,4 Ghz band.
And yes, it has only the 4 channels that are allowed world wide.
I hope D-Link will build localized firmwares, which handle the number of channels depending on where you are. But as these 4 channels are none overlapping, they are more than you have in the 2,4 GHz band. There are only 3.

using "http://192.168.0.1/chklst.txt" to me indicates wireless domain 0x39. is right?
you already come to the router for testing?
If this coverage is much better bridge to Netgear.

Seems to be different:
Wireless Region 0: 0x0E
Wireless Region 1: 0x0E
Wireless Domain: 0x37
My first tests showed the 2.4 MHz alone as good as with my DIR-655, 5 GHz Band I got only up to 185 Mbit but about 7 MB/s transfer. But I used old drivers with my Atheros cards.
Both active at a time slowed down he transfer by a third.
5MHz band coverage is not as good as 2.4.
Will do some more tests next weekend.
