Ok, some info I got from D-Link.

1. Not worry about the log entries being seeing. There apart of the FW and seem to be as designed.

2. We'd like users to post captures of the routers detected reported speed results and speedtest.net result using a browser as well for comparison. I'll be doing this again as well. There maybe a process issues where we need to wait a bit longer for the on board test to complete before adding devices and maybe causing some interruptions in it's testing. I recommend turning off all devices accept for one wired PC and let the router do it's thing for about 10-15 minutes after doing a factory reset. The speed test should complete and should report detected speeds to what your paying for. Please report any differences seen in the router and from speedtest.net and differences with SB and ABE disabled. Post pics please.

3. Duplicate devices may need some time also for SB to recognize the devices and process them correctly. So once you've added the devices and assign them a reserved IP address, give some time for the router to settle in and adjust. Try a couple of hours to maybe over night then come back the next morning and check. D-Link is going to review this issue as well.

Thank you.

I re-set and re-installed using FF.
I took my time.
Dupes are still appearing?
I'll note though that the dupe issue is a bad one it makes it really hard to prioritize my devices and I only have 5.
Please keep me/us posted on what D-link says about the dupes. :)

I'll give it a few days an see what happens and will report back.

Oh also noticed that saving priorities it hitches and takes a min to go back to the login screen.
Although it does save.

What version of FF are you using?

Can you test IE and see if IE does the same thing when saving priorities...

IE has the same issue.
I normally use FF version 30.0

There's a pic of the dupes in priorities.
As you can see the first 2 numbers/letters are missing.

Ok, here what I did today after work.
Using Windows 7x32 and IE11

1. Factory reset the router and removed all devices accept for the Windows wired PC.
2. Start the Setup wizard and the initial speed test results were:

3. Ran a ISP and Speedtest.net test before completing the set up wizard:

4. Completed the setup wizard and started to review the router logs and saw the speeds tests were being carried out. I notice that more then one speed test and speed testing site were being tested. None of them from my central location and city however more regionally, like over 100 miles away or farther. I noticed that the log only holds about 9 pages before it cleared during this process as I noticed the page when to 1/3 from 1/9. Over all it took about 10 minutes to complete. After it was completed, I connected the rest of my devices.

5. Final test results were better than initial router tests results however there is a small portion of speed missing I believe as both sides noticed a drop in results at about ~6Mb on the Download side, and about ~1Mb on the UP side:
Final router SB/ABE speed values updated:

6. DST is set for Sunday I guess. Time and date are correct for my time zone:

7. One issue I found is that for IE11 on Windows 7x32, the right side IP addresses for My Networking icons is getting cut off in the display. No matter what I do to zoom in or out or use compatibility mode, the IP address is not displayed fully: 16x9 monitor

8. And as you can see, I can't reproduce the "duplicate icon" display either. Some of my wired devices are connected to an HP 24 port Gb switch. This test PC and a couple other devices are directly connected to the back of the router.

Update, 4 hours later:
Ok so I seem to have replicated the dupllicate icons, both in My Networking and Priorities: THese are of my xbox on 192.168.0.199

However after I gamed on xbox for about an hour and came back to the router, I see that it's finally detecting ISP speeds more to what I'm paying for while using automatic mode: 50/3 ISP package

Seems that given some time, the router is eventually settling in on SB.

I've forwarded the duplicate info on to D-Link. Please be patient.

I'm stumped  ???
I have no idea why I have dupes.
I use manual bandwidth and the test button.
It's all good there. Even my xb1 test is the same as before.
Took a break from trying to get the dupes fixed, gaming on xb1 and wii u feel a bit better.
Although they still don't show up (The way I expect)
I tried Furry I really did them dupes I just dunno.

Don't bother with the dupes for now. They don't seem to be effecting anything at the moment. I updated my last post with what I found.

Seems that SB is settling in and adjusting.

FYI: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=55136.msg238544#msg238544
This makes sense. I tested out the speed issue last night again, and the same issue popped up. Stayed about ~5Mbps for over an hour, I went to sleep, woke up this morning and speeds were back to normal.

Aside from the duplicate entries that most of us seem to be experiencing, I'm actually fairly happy with this update now. I do notice that shutting off ABE/SB seems to get me faster speeds overall, but I think that's a known occurrence.

Awesome. Ya, i noticed my speed was down after leaving it after I tested it. After gaming last night, I saw speeds were up and at speed for my ISP package. Just need to give it time from what D-Link says.

I updated with a new FW update process for the 5500 so I advise everyone to review it and follow it.

I'll post back if I hear any information regarding the duplicate icons. Should be a major issue at this time for anyone.

Enjoy.

Can you give more details on this?
What are you doing and how are you connected when this happens?

PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

I haven't had any issues using IE or Safari or FF.

any fix for not being able to log back into the router via the 192 address?

so far only issue I'm having with the new fw is every time I save a setting and it reboots I can't get back into the router from the 192 address.  I have to pull the power cable for it to allow me back in.  Is there another way to access the page?
