Very grainy picture

Sorry if I've missed something but this is my first DCS and all I can compare with is the review.
Good connection (tried wired and wi fi)  KBPS is 5K  but the picture is pixelated... and color is horrible.

I've tried every setting in video.  Do I have a lemon?

How is the video quality if you connect to the camera locally, within your LAN, using the camera IP address?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.  It looked like an old TV gone bad.  I exchanged the system for a new one and all is well.  It must have been a faulty camera.  I'd be happy to post the image for others but I can't see how to add the pdf.
