Title: 202l Possible to plug in a USB flash drive or an SD card hooked up to a reader

Is it possible? Will kill the flash or SD card???

What do you mean? Overwrite it due to small size?

I think I mis understood ya, my bad. You can hook up a any drive that was connected to the DNR to a reader. The data should remain, however may not be readable. I've never attempted to read data from the DNR drive on a PC. Let us know if want you find out.

OK lets forget flash drives and SD cards.

On a portable HDD, say the capacity is 1GB. If I run 4 cams 24x7 on continuous record, how many days of surveillance will I have before the drive begins to overwite?
