I wasn't talking about karma, there's another thread for that.
You can only wish to be in such well educated company, I was talking about the line I have to cross to step down to your shady level. ;D

Cuz where you are it's cold and dark at the moment and I'm in the sun right now. :P

I wouldn't be so rude, but frankly this is the second D-Link product I've owned, and both have been garbage (so far).  I came back and got the DIR-655 after more than 5 years of staying away -- only because many folks I trust recommended it.  Those folks are running 1.2x firmware and love the product.  Me, I've had it a month (all on 1.32NA) and either figure the device is foobar or the firmware is.  I found one thread acknowledging some problems, but it has been strangely quiet.

Support has been no help.

I'm about to write off this device and go grab something else.

Well, it's just a thin line between madness en being a genius. Come and join me on the Dark Side...

BTW, I'll be in the sun in two days for the rest of the month. So no Elfstedentocht for me.
