windows xp dell 32bit.
first wifi in this desktop.
ok i had 2 network controllers on and off board. turned off and removed both AFTER i installed the card and cd.
Dumped drivers and all and reinstalled.
i got it to says  connected to my new dlink router DGL-4500 but i cant see it and it doesnt really
connect.
Cant see any wifi signals on the windows or dlink wireless network window.
geen light blinks
says some conponents are not installed
im thinking conflict, and or missing windows network conponents

btw my brother say he connected to the wifi with a laptop but the signal is worse then a wrt54g2 v1. the wrt is like 25US. the cheapest wifi router ever and about 7 years old. would hate to have to fall back on it and my DFE-530TX rev-f1 that a 10+ old dlink that still runs good.just not a wifi
