Title: DCS-6620 - Blank Video Image
Post by: dug1967 on August 03, 2009, 10:25:38 AM
Hello all,

I have a DCS-6620 camera that is about 2 yrs old and has been working great until a few days ago. When opened in IE, the normal D-Link web page loads (with the controls to the left and the video box in the middle). It pops up the box that says "0 user(s) on line" and then flashes the text that says "Connecting to ....."

But no video image. The sounds works and I can still move the camera around (I watch it with another camera). But there is no video.

I first noticed this problem a few days ago, then this morning at worked once, the video was there and then when I tried it again the video was gone again and I can't get it now.

I am fearful that it is dying or dead, as in time to buy another one, but I hope not....

Any ideas? Thanks in adavnce for your assistance.

Are you accessing this camera remotely or on the local network?

Remotely, through IE.

Does it happen on the local network as well? If not it looks like all the ports are not open on the routers firewall.
