The DAP-1360 is a universal wireless N repeater/extender so it should have no problems repeating the 827. You will only be able to repeat/extend the 2.4ghz band of course.

If you are looking to expand the wireless coverage area I find powerline much more effective. Two scenarios:
- DHP-306AV and then DHP-W306AV on the other end
- DHP-306AV and then DAP-1525 or DAP-1360 in AP mode on the other end

Great thing about powerline is it allows you to place the secondary AP virtually anywhere in your house. Traditional repeaters tend to be troublesome and even when they do work have 2 disadvantages. One being that even though the signal may improve, the throughput is cut in half (since it needs to repeat the signal). The second is if you have an obstacle such as a think concrete wall, the repeater may not provide additional coverage.
