What do I send to friends so they can view live feed?
« on: September 28, 2013, 03:29:39 PM »

I have tried http:// IP address/mjpeg.cgi which just keeps downloading forever with no picture.
I tried http:// IP address/video.htm which gave me the admin password set up then the live feed.
What am I doing wrong. I just want to have a few friends enjoy my puppies antics

I have tried IE 10 and Chrome 29+
I can now get a small screen view using Firefox but only with the admin login.
If I read the manual correctly I should be able to have several users at the same time using different logins??
Any help is appreciated

I guess this is an obscure use for the camera or the multi users part is nonfunctional.
Thanks for your input

We have set up "users" and given neighbors access using ip address plus any of the generic built-in commands.
Be sure that you have port forwarding set up.

I must have missed something trying to set up port forwarding.
Thanks for your help

Going in via the camera IP takes you to camera's web interface, at least it does for me.  That's not where you want users to end up.

In your php code it asks for the final 2-digits of cameras' LAN ip. My camera LAN IP is 10.0.1.3. What are the last two digits? I tried 13, 03 or just 3 and none worked.

I thank you for all the direct commands but I still end up at the web interface. I don't have a smart phone to test with (nearly deaf so don't use phones). Haven't been able to sort out the port forwarding either. My geekness must have worn out over the years.

I am not having any luck. My camera LAN IP is 10.0.1.4:8081. What digits do I need?  Also, I don't see anywhere where the WAN IP goes.
