since update 2.11 videos are written directly to sd-card (no directory DCS-942LB) (just a hint?)
if you download a file by clicking on it with firefox agent 2.1.0-b03 you get a white screen.
Before update you can click the next file (the directory is on the screen). Now you get a white screen, nothing else.
You CAN NOT download any files!
IE the same problem!
What's the problem?

so the solution:
on DCS-942L the downloadpath is:
http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_082301D.jpg&path=DCS-942L/20161017/08//20161017_082301D.jpg
Files are stored in DCS-942L
on DCS-942LB the downloadpath is:
http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_131543D.jpg&path=/20161017/13/20161017_131543D.jpg
Files arn't stored in DCS-942LB
so to download the files copy the filepath and remove one /
http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_131543D.jpg&path=20161017/13/20161017_131543D.jpg
What a shame! And a mistake!

May have been due to a recent FW change:
"3. Fix the unsuitable response issue for API /cgi/admin/adv_do.cgi."
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=65669.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=65669.0)
Thanks for sharing the solution. Hope it helps future users.

Change the folder name as “DCS-942LB” for local recording and SD recording.
but this didn't happend, it has NO folder name so cgi doesn't work...
-
Thanks for the info.
-
just noticed another "feature": it creates the folder on your pc not on the sd-card..... something reale messed up...
-
Is this when the SD cards is installed or not installed?

installed
i think they did some mistakes. logfile of changes says it creates a folder on sd-card, but in reality it creates an folder locally on the pc watching the cam....
and so the had the problem, that there is no folder on sd-card but they refer in the downloadlink to a folder (folder/day/avi is only day/avi but the link refers to /day/avi (with an starting slash...).
Sorry for bad english.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. I'd ask them specifically what the expected behavior is. I see lots of new items in the recent FW update notes. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
