Static on Optical interface at power-up
« on: March 29, 2008, 01:24:29 PM »

When I power up my DSM-510 A2 with the optical out connected, I get static from the optical output until any sound is played from a video or audio file.  I am using a Sony STR-DE835 as my reciever.  This is the only device I have seen this happen with.  Any way to get an optical interface reset put in to the boot up sequence?  I've also noticed that the optical interface stays hot after powering down.  I am currently running FW1.08 but this happened on FW1.07 as well.

Regards,
Karl
