Fan trigger-points should be configurable
« on: January 17, 2009, 10:00:38 PM »

Anyone agree?  Finding that my unit consistently runs 5°C higher on 1.02 than it does on 1.01 due to the change in fan trigger-points.  While I appreciate the desire of some users to minimize fan noise for some applications, 46/49°C is too high for some drives (e.g., the Hitachi 7K1000) and environments in which noise isn't a primary concern.
