Title: Camera notification text (motion detection notification)
Post by: phsc on May 28, 2018, 08:39:13 AM
Hi All

I have a couple of D-link cameras; DCs-7513,DCS-7514, DCS-5605 and a few DCS-7110 and my question goes for all of them:

The email notification that these cameras can send out has an awful lot on (to me) meaningless text like i.e.:

Subject: From Internet Camera (DCS-5605(03BFFD) 2018/05/28, 08:06:08

Snapshot mail content
Camera Name: DCS-5605 (03BFFD)
IP Address: 0.0.0.0
Time: 2018-05-28 08:06:08
Event: Email a Snapshot image when Motion Detection is triggered

A lot of redundant info I would like to live without.
mostly because I would never have to scroll down in the email to see the pic every time

so my question is: Is there anyway to edit/delete these texts somehow?

Disable motion detection?
Turn down the sensitivity?

I am not unhappy about getting the notifications.... Just the content (except for the pics)
Su ideally I would just edit the text in the notifications... If I knew where/how to do it

I don't think that's something that can be modified.

Unfortunately the text in email notifications is not editable.
