Title: The cameras freezes up
Post by: mike5906 on October 29, 2015, 07:18:45 AM
I have had the absolute worst luck with these cameras.  I have 7 of them, and 3 have failed and been replaced by DLink.  And now I have two more that have failed.  The whole system is only 6 months old.

The problem is always the same.  The cameras freezes up and when you log into the admin page its showing a freeze frame from days ago.  You reboot the camera and you get one frame and it freezes again.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using on the main host router?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool: DHCP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58017.0)

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=62395.0)

What web browser are you using?
