I keep getting this each time I try and log into my cameras on my DSM-310. This just started happening. Works fine when I get online for Netflix and everything else.

I bought two 310's for the specific purpose of using the mydlink app to view my camera's on my big screen TV. Firmware 1.0.1 upgrade broke the app which makes the 310 useless to me.. Called several times on when to expect a firmware release fix they just said that they are aware of the issue and working on it.. This was in early December. No word to this day. Tried to get my money back and they said no.. Talk to Amazon where I purchased the units. Who breaks their own product and refuses to give a next firmware release date that fixes the issue.

It's not my router.. I'm an infrastructure engineer and work on routers/switches/firewalls everyday. I called DLink and they admitted the latest firmware release broke the my Dlink app on the media player everything else works fine. They stated that a new firmware release would fix the bug. I'm just looking for a estimated release date of the firmware...
-
You'll need to ask them about the fix as we don't have access to that information.
Good Luck.

I did ask... No idea when. :(

You'll have to be patient and keep an eye on the web support page then.
Good Luck.

Do you have the URL for the support page... Thanks.
-
Looking into the support page, there isn't any FW file. So I presume this is a unit driven update that will come from one of D-Link servers so I presume that you'll need to check for updates on the unit itself.

Right... but like most software vendors I deal with there is a yearly/quarterly or some sort of release schedule. i would assume Dlink must do the same thing right? I'm just looking for a approx schedule. i.e. FW 1.0 Jan 2011; FW 1.1 Jun 2012... Is there any information on when the first two were pushed out? Thanks
-
Ya we don't have access to release schedules here on the forums. I presume that if you reported it and they have confirmed the problem, a fix would be forth coming soon after they can code fix it and test it before pushing out to the servers.
-
Do you happen to have the servers support page URL?
-
Sorry I don't. That information isn't made public I presume. :-\
