The routers internal IP has been changed to 10.0.0.1 and I have a Windows server 2008 box as DHCP and 2nd DNS server attached to the network. The DHCP's scope is 10.0.0.3-10.0.0.254 and the windows server 2008 box is set as static 10.0.0.2. w/ a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0

The last time I check, the subnet for a Class A was 255.0.0.0 am I wrong?

I don't see a fix here, unless you are telling me that DMZ only works for a scope of 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.254 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

If this is so, then something is seriously wrong with Dlink Products!

I will also bump for help. I host a local game server, requiring either port forwarding or dmz. The web server i have works fine while using virtual server. but the game server ports will not open using any of these three methods (port forwarding, dmz or virtual server).  Also using H/W B. with 2.00NA Firmware, date on router = may 12, 2010 (apparently different from the 2.00NA on the website which is dated september 16th, 2010) dont want to test to see if these are different, wanted confirmation from the forum first.

Any help is appreciated!

I've tried to use the DMZ for VoIP as well as back when I was struggling to bypass the SecureSpot bug in 1.33 and have concluded that it just another feature that doesn't work on this router.

@ K-Mac,

Don't bother trying the "new" F/W.
The F/W versions you reference are the same.
I installed it as per suggestion from dlink tech support and this is the version of my 655 now

Firmware Version :       2.00NA , Wed, 12, May, 2010
(no change)

The Download dated September 16, 2010 is a zip file.
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/dir655_revB/Firmware/dir655_revB_FW_200NA.zip
Which contains
1. the May 12, 2010 F/W (file is dated 11 May but when loaded into 655 shows 12 May)
2. dir655_revB_release_notes.txt file

Hope this helps.
