How do I connect (2x) DAP-2553 with a router???
« on: July 23, 2012, 09:30:07 PM »

Hello all, I am a noob here.  Here's what I am trying to do...

DAP-2553 (#1)<--Linksys router with internet(WRT300N)--> DAP-2553 (#2)

I want my (2x) DAP-2553 to be able to pickup the signal from the Linksys router's Wi-Fi.  Then be allowed users in various locatioins to be able to access the internet.  Like a bridge, but from what I understand the DAP-2553 can be a bridge and an AP at the same time.  Am I to use the DAP-2553 in "Wireless client" mode or "WDS w/AP?  ???  Any other advice will greatly be appreciated.

They should be able to pick up the main host routers SSID name and PW and possibly the MAC address from the router as well. I would refer to the user manual and see if there is any information on how to bridge the DAPS. I Think Wireless client mode is what you maybe seeking.
